Scarf Project Sees Additional Last Minute Donations

Michaela Madison Reporting

(Thursday, November 9th) New Philadelphia, Ohio – Despite only being in its second year, the Scarf Project, has proven to be a great success in Tuscarawas and surrounding counties.

Program Coordinator, Toni Kaltenbaugh, of New Philadelphia, explained she was shocked when additional donations were made as they were placing scarves on Wednesday.

“Kind of blew my mind, people kept adding to the scarves,” she said. “The location at Dover Library, for example, there were three different people that added totaling almost 75 scarves and that seem to happen at almost every one of the sites.”

Kaltenbaugh says there are still scarves and hats available at several locations.

To donate to next year’s project you can call Kaltenbaugh directly at 330-432-1930.
