Mary Alice Reporting:

(Tuesday, June 12th) Dover, Ohio – With the interchange at Interstate 77 and State Route 39 seeing congestion, a road project will not be taking place during the day.

Ohio Department of Transportation officials and officials with The Shelly Company have agreed to do the entire 10 miles project through the night.

District 11 Public Information Officer Lauren Borrell explains that crews will finish out today’s work day and then will start night time work Wednesday from 7pm to 7am.

“This won’t affect the completion or anything like that. We’re just switching the work that we normally would be doing during daytime hours to nighttime. They’re going to be working on pavement repairs for the next couple of weeks and then they’ll be moving to paving work.”

The $1.8 million project, spanning from Dover to Sugarcreek, is set for completion by October 31st.
