Three Charged in Multi-County Burglaries

Sheriff Detectives are actively looking for information connected to recent burglaries in Coshocton and Tuscarawas Counties.

Two men were arrested and are charged with having weapons while under disability and a woman is charged with receiving stolen property for robberies that occurred in May.

Coshocton County Sheriff Lt. Dean Hettinger says that on Wednesday a search warrant was executed around 6:20pm in the city.

“In the 200 block of N. 15th Street in the city of Coshocton. Three adults were taken into custody without any incident. This warrant is part of a large multi-county investigation into recent burglaries. Property has been recovered but I don’t have any details at this time.”

In custody are 29-year-old Sara Reber, 31-year-old Brian Hunt II, both from the Coshocton area, and 45-year-old Thomas Phelps from the Newcomerstown area.

Police are asking anyone with information or have seen these individuals driving a dark-colored BMW in their area previously to contact the Coshocton Sheriff’s Office at 740-622-2411.

Assisting Coshocton in the on-going investigation is the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office.
