Mary Alice Reporting:

(Wednesday, November 28th) Dennison, Ohio – A holiday train ride will run for two weekends in December, creating memories on the way to the North Pole.

Tickets are still available at the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum for their annual Polar Express trip.

Director Wendy Zucal says that the traditional ride features a conductor, elves, and Santa.

“Before Polar Express we have the Elf Yourself Shop, Mrs. Clause’s Cookie Kitchen, and photo opportunities. So, even if you aren’t going out on the train ride we encourage you to stop by and check out our vendors. We have food trucks coming as well.”

The trips run December 7th through the 9th and from December 4th to the 16th. Tickets are still available for all dates but not all departing times.

She points out that this annual event is a major funding source for the Dennison Depot’s annual budget.

For more information on purchasing tickets, contact the Depot or email them at polarexpress@dennisondepot.org.
