(Friday, May 11th) Cambridge, Ohio – A North Carolina woman is facing felony drug charges after a traffic stop.

State Highway Patrol Troopers point out the vehicle with Virginia registration was pulled over Wednesday around 10:30 am for a following too close violation on Interstate 70.

After criminal indicators were observed and a drug-sniffing canine alerted to the vehicle, troopers searched the vehicle.

110 pounds of heroin and methamphetamine, valued at almost $4 million, was seized.

27-year-old Ashley Tramonte, from North Carolina, was taken into custody and is facing first-degree charges of possession of a controlled substance and trafficking in drugs.

If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison and around a $40,000 fine.
