Mary Alice Reporting –

Two new faces will reign over the 2019 Tuscarawas County Fair.

Crowned into the positions were Megan Murphy, a member of the 4-H Heartlanders, and Justin Scott, who’s a 4-H member with Stonecreek Peas and Carrots.

Both said that they were nervous throughout the wait but were in disbelief when their names were called.

Scott says it feels good to be selected and to be able to represent the local area.

Murphy adds that she is excited to begin her royal duties as the 169th fair gets underway this week.

The two will take over from 2018’s Queen Makayla Miller and King Carlo Capozella.
