TuscBDD to Host BINGO Night

Michaela Madison Reporting

(Friday, October 6th) New Philadelphia, Ohio – The Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is planning to host a Basket BINGO night this month.

Keri Silverthorn with TuscBDD explained that the event will support the Tuscarawas County Special Olympics.

“The Special Olympics, they go on lots of field trips, they go to all different places to participate in sports so that’s going to help in funding those things. Their outfits, their uniforms and things like that.”

Silverthorn added the event will feature a number of activities in addition to Basket BINGO.

“The admission that you pay will actually cover 20 rounds of BINGO, which means you get 20 changes to win an amazing gift basket,” she explained. “There’s going to be door prizes, 50/50 drawing, we’re going to have vendors and crafters, there’s going to be a concession stand.”

Tickets will be $15 through October 26th and tickets at the door will be $20.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 28th at Buckeye Career Center in New Philadelphia.
