Mary Alice Reporting – Folks are being reminded to keep safety protocols in mind as a local track reopens to the public.
The Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium track was previously closed after multiple complaints of larger gatherings that exceeded the number set forth by the state.
City of New Philadelphia Mayor Joel Day says the popular walking spot will reopen on Saturday.
“Please follow the Health Department’s recommendation on social distancing that will be posted at the stadium. The stadium will be closed when it’s being used for New Philadelphia High School football practices that is required by local health and state regulations.”
Public hours could change and residents are advised to check the posted signage at the track for updates.
