(Thursday, June 14, 2018) Coshocton County, Ohio – The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a two car crash that occurred at the intersection two-car and County Road 10 on Wednesday.
Lt. Dean Hettinger stated it appeared that a red KIA, driven by Steven Baughman of Strasburg, along with his wife Marla, were traveling west on US 36 when a tan Buick, driven by Robert Hall of Coshocton, along with his wife Marilyn, were traveling east on US 36 and attempted to turn left onto CR 10 causing Baughman to strike their vehicle.
“Once on scene, it was discovered that one of the vehicle occupants were trapped in the vehicle. After extricating the patient, later identified as Marliyn Hall, she was transported to Coshocton airport where MedFlight then flew her to Akron City Hospital for treatment of her injuries sustained in the accident.”
Hettinger said all individuals were wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Assisting at the scene was the Three Rivers Fire District, Coshocton City Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton REACT and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
