Wyman E. Wengerd – August 29, 2018

Wyman E. Wengerd, 77, of 2567 TR 421 Sugarcreek (Walnut Creek) died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born on July 2, 1941 in Holmes County to the late Eli D. and Emma (Troyer) Wengerd. He was the former owner of Walnut Creek Glass and a member of the New Order Amish Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Esther Troyer, whom he married on November 26, 1963, his 8 children; Marvin (Miriam) Wengerd of Walnut Creek, Dean (Marianna) Wengerd of Greenville, TN, Brenda (Steven) Weaver of Canastota, NY, Louella (Willis, Jr.) Wagler of Cynthiana, KY, Naomi (Matthias) Mast of Greenville, PA, Marcus (Rebecca) Wengerd of Trail, Bryan (Hannah) Wengerd of Walnut Creek and Elaine (Nathan) Hershberger of Canastota, NY, 50 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, brother Abner (Mattie) Wengerd of Millersburg, sisters; Barbara (Eli) Miller of Fredericksburg, OH, Edna (Henry) Mast of Illinois, Clara Yoder of Mt. Hope and Katie (Andy) Miller of Millersburg.  In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his daughter Diane. 

Services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 9:00 AM at 2593 TR 421 in Walnut Creek with Bishop Mark A. Miller officiating.  Burial will be in the Beachy Cemetery in Walnut Creek Twp., Holmes County.  Friends may call anytime at the Residence.  Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
