Mary Alice Reporting – A 25-year-old has been indicted on rape and kidnapping charges and will make an appearance in the Guernsey County Common Pleas Court.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office issued the Wednesday announcement about the first-degree felonies against Joshua Matthew Sills, of Sarahsville,
He was indicted by a grand jury on allegations that, in December 2019, he engaged in sexual activity that was not consensual. The crime was reported immediately and deputies have been conducting a detailed investigation.
A summons has been issued for Sills to appear in the Cambridge courtroom on February 16th, at 1 pm.
Sills, a Meadowbrook graduate, is an NFL offensive guard and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022.
