Mary Alice Reporting – A program through Job and Family Services has received funding for school-aged children to help with clothing.

The Prevention, Retention, and Contingency Program (PRC) announced that each eligible child will receive $200 for school clothes and applications are available at the Tuscarawas County JFS lobby or at www.tcjfs.org.

To be eligible, children must be attending kindergarten through 12th grade for the school year running 2022-23 and in receipt of food assistance at the time of application submission.

Required documentation includes proof of child’s school enrollment, proof of all household income, and bank account balance status. JFS notes that this funding is not limited to children in public schools.

All applications must be submitted by 4pm on June 30th. A completed application can be submitted by mail it to the agency (389 16th Street SW, New Philadelphia, 44663), by fax at 3330-339-6388, or by email to mybenefits@TCJFS.org.

Notification of approval will be mailed to the applicant’s address and an assigned date, July 27th – 29th, will be given to pick up the funds. Identification must be shown.
