Nick McWilliams reporting – An art scholarship contest for all Tuscarawas County graduating seniors is back for a second year.

The contest, which awards a $500 and $250 scholarship to the winning entry, is awarding through the courtroom of Tuscarawas County Juvenile Court Judge Adam Wilgus.

The winner will receive the dollars to further their education, and will have their piece hung permanently in Wilgus’s courtroom.

The theme in 2023 for the contest is Dreaming of the Future. Each work should reflect what the future plans of the artist are, and what they intend on doing after graduation from their respective high schools.

Submissions must be made by March 10th for consideration.

Applications are available on the Tuscarawas County Courts website under the juvenile division.
