Barbara Jean Meese, age 74, of Dennison, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Claymont Health and Rehabilitation in Uhrichsville, Ohio, following a period of declining health.
The daughter of George and Mammie (Utter) Striker, Barbara was born April 14, 1947, in Dennison, Ohio.
Barbara was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed feeding the birds and raising birds in her home. She loved the animals.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Patterson who passed away in 1995; a daughter Vickie Risley; 3 brothers and 2 granddaughters.
Barbara is survived by her husband Terry Meese, of the home; her children Franklin “Woody” Patterson, Harvey Patterson and Darlene Bowe; siblings Georgia Mahaffey, Rhea Stinard, Betty Stinard Beatrice (Bob) Patterson, George “Buster” (Kathy) Striker and Arthur (Diane) Striker; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and best friends June Meese and Kim Schafer.
Graveside services for Barbara will be held at 1 p.m., on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Tunnel Hill Cemetery in Bowerston, with Pastor Sandra Mann officiating.
No calling hours will be observed.
