Barbara L. Gray, 87, of Stone Creek passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the Park Village Health Care Center, Dover.
Born September 17, 1933 in Stone Creek she was a daughter of the late Russell and Gretchen Reiss Metzger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marcellus “Bud” Gray on February 18, 2000; sister, Nancy Hilton, and sister in law, Nancy Metzger.
Barbara retired from F.W. Woolworth in New Philadelphia; she was a member of the Garden Club, Homemakers Club both of Stone Creek and the Palette Club.
She is survived by her daughters, Kay (Wayne) Schupp, Rhonda (Vincent) Day of Stone Creek; grandchildren, Trishia and Nicholas Day, James (April) Schupp; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Schupp; brother, Ronald Metzger of Port Washington; brother in law, Herman Hilton Sr.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 17th starting at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor David Wing officiating. Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service on Friday.
