Mary Alice Reporting – Back for its 16th year, the Strawberry Festival in Bolivar has events lined up Thursday through Saturday.
Events are happening on June 9th from 4 pm to 10 pm with the midway, featuring amusement rides, open starting at 5 pm.
For Friday, the midway is open to attendees from 5pm to 10pm with the Bolivar Idol Auditions at 4pm followed by the Queens Contest at 6pm.
On Saturday, events include the Miss Berry Princess, starting at 11am, and then, at noon, the Little Miss Shortcake Pageant, with midway areas opening at 1pm.
Back on June 11th is the fireman’s parade, from 4pm to 5pm, followed by the strawberry eating contest at 5:30pm.
