Carol S. Brubaker, 86, of Newcomerstown, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at her home. She was born November 13, 1934 in Shanesville to the late Garrison and Vesta (Schrock) Menges. Carol was happily married for 59 years to Grant C. Brubaker, who survives.
Carol is survived by her children, David Brubaker of Newcomerstown, Bryan Brubaker of Akron; one granddaughter; two grandsons; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Ruth Menges.
Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Menges.
Services will be Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Addy Funeral Home of Newcomerstown, with Rev. Bracken G. Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek. Visitation will take place from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church of Newcomerstown, Community Hospice, or First United Church of Christ of Sugarcreek.
