Dorothy J. Kellam, 72, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at her residence. She was born March 18, 1949 in Pine Hall, NC to the late James and Vina (Mitchell) Belcher.She was a Newcomerstown High School graduate. She worked for Simonds Industries and retired from Stokes County School System in North Carolina. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Newcomerstown. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, watching cooking shows, and spending time with her family.
She was married to Leroy Kellam who preceded her in death in 2004. Dorothy is survived by her son, Todd Kellam (Jen Riddle) of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Lexis Kellam, Alliyah Kellam, Lee Kellam, Abigail Harris, Ronald Harris, and Noah Scott; great-grandchildren, Alicia Baker, Alayzha Powell, Akyus Harris, and Akiraha Kellam; and her sister, Debbi Belcher of Akron. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her siblings, George Belcher, Edward Belcher, Shirley Russell and Rose Scott.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home, Newcomerstown. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 525 North Broad Street, Canfield. OH 44406.
