Dorothy M. Feller, age 63, of Dover died early, Saturday, October 30, 2021, in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a period of declining health.

Born on October 9, 1958, in Millersburg, Ohio Dorothy was a daughter of the late Eli E. and Betty Nussbaum Hochstetler.

She was a 1977 graduate of Hiland High School and on March 23, 1978, married the love of her life Richard Feller who lovingly called her, “Dorota”, meaning “Gift of God.”

Dorothy’s life was centered around her deep faith in the Lord. She loved her Precept Bible Study time and having her faith nurtured at the Dover Alliance Church. Next came family, as raising her children and spending time with them as they grew older and had families of their own was a passion of Dorothy’s. She will long be remembered for her baking and crafting skills and the joy she felt while being able to travel and vacation with her husband.

Professionally, Dorothy spent more than 20 years with the Tuscarawas County Public Library where she was the Children’s Department Activity Coordinator.

In addition to her husband of 43 years, Dorothy will be missed by her family that includes four children, Douglas (Brianne) Feller of Alexandria, Ohio, Aaron (Sally) Feller of Dover, Pastor Logan (Monica) Feller of Bryan, Ohio, and Laura (Corey) Tolliver of Rigby, Idaho, and her grandchildren, Gretel, Paul, Zack, Kaylie, Elliana, and Benjamin.

Completing the family are Dorothy’s siblings, Gwen Biddle, Cheryl (Dewey) Gerber, Donna (Dan) Birky, Phillip (Chris) Hochstetler, Donovan (Paula) Hochstetler, and Jeff (Bobbi Jo) Hochstetler as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will greet guests on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from Noon – 2:00 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover where Pastor Rick Rose will lead a service celebrating Dorothy’s life will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Dover Burial Park. Immediately after services, all are invited to share in a time of food and sharing in the Fellowship Hall of the Dover Alliance Church.
