Ethel F. Weeks, 62, of Beach City passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, August 20, 2021.
Born on April 5, 1959 in Ravenna, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Weeks Sr. and Ethel Jerald Weeks. Ethel was also preceded in death by her siblings, Marjorie Rader, Kay Orlandi and Charles Weeks.
She retired in 2014 from Ohio Cat Hydraulic Services in Bolivar and had also worked at Stark Industrial in Canton for over 17 years. Ethel was a member of St. John United Church of Christ at Strasburg; sang in numerous choirs and participated in musicals. She was an exceptional athlete who enjoyed many sports, along with camping, boating and nurturing her flower gardens; she also loved spoiling her puppies. All who had the pleasure of knowing her will always remember her incredibly kind, quiet and generous spirit.
Ethel is survived by her life-long friend, Vickki Hinebaugh; brothers, Kenneth Jr. (Kay) Weeks of Bristolville, Thomas (Teresa) Weeks of Champion; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A service celebrating Ethel’s life will be held on Thursday, September 9th starting at 1:00 pm in the St. John United Church of Christ, Strasburg with Rev. Jason Rissler officiating. The family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
