Eva Katherine Burroway, 70, of Uhrichsville, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Schoenbrunn Healthcare in New Philadelphia. Born December 9, 1950 in LaGrange, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Harold J. and Ethel M. (Norwood) Miller. Growing up in Indiana, she was a 1969 graduate of Goshen High School.
On October 11, 1980, Eva married Harold Lloyd “Chip” Burroway who survives her. She is also survived by their children, Annabelle Anderson, Ethel (James) Maize, Daniel (Wendy) Burroway, Karen Burroway, Denise Clark, Katie Burroway, Warne Burroway, and Nicholas Hayes, and many grandchildren. Eva is survived by her sister, Genveive (Jesse) Kehr; a brother, Daniel Miller; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Doug Burroway and Georgie Burroway; her sisters, Margretha Brubacher and Madonna Yoder; and brother, William Miller.
Eva loved being a mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her devotion to her family. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and playing computer games, and was a member of Dennison Foursquare Gospel Church.
Pastor Rod Phillips will officiate her funeral service in Dennison Foursquare Gospel Church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, followed by interment at Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover. Family and friends are invited to call at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Charitable donations honoring Eva’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
