Audtions for Trumpet In The Land

On Saturday, March 15 from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. in the Tuscarawas County Welcome Center located at 124 E. High Avenue in New Philadelphia, Trumpet in the Land will hold auditions for its 2025 summer season. In addition to Paul Green’s Trumpet in the Land and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, the summer will also include a readers’ theatre production of Bonamico & Durbin’s The White Savage. Actors will gather, on stage, to read from the original script to once again bring this captivating story to life. Those wishing to audition must provide a photo and resume, be at least 17 years of age, and be available from June 1 through August 16. Auditions for actors and singers should include a 1-2 minute memorized monologue and a minimum of 16 bars of a song including sheet music or digital accompaniment. Dancers must provide a dance reel and technicians a resume of work experience including references.
