COMPASS Rape Crisis Center to host “Purses for a Purpose” Event

“Purses for a Purpose” kicks off Sexual Assault Awareness Month with an online purse auction and culminating in-person celebration on Monday, April 3rd at The Barrel Room in North Canton. The auction will have a wide selection of purses, bags and totes to bid on – and each bag is filled with mystery items with a minimum value of $50. Online bidding will begin Wednesday, March 15th and will end at 7:30 pm on Monday, April 3rd. Handbags from designers including Betsy Johnson, Kate Spade, Coach, ALDO and more will be available for bidding and mystery items inside include gift cards, wine, jewelry, Alexa Show 5, JBL Speaker and MORE!!!! Tickets for the in-person celebration are $25 and include appetizers and a cash bar. The Barrel Room is generously donating 10% of all beverage sales that evening back to COMPASS.
