Grand Re-Opening of the Children’s Area – Camp Read A Lot Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Mineral City Nicole Donant Library

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 3rd at 1 pm. The children’s area has been renovated and updated with a campground theme and some pretty cool characters. It also includes a new mural created by a local artist. Cake will be served from a local bakery and there will be arts, crafts and games for children throughout the day. Nancy Schoenbaum of Camp Tuscazoar will be giving a presentation at 2 pm about all of the camping, hiking and outdoor experiences available to the community. She will also have some locally harvested maple syrup with her. To conclude the day, at 5 pm they will draw for the door prize gifted by a local vendor for a deluxe pontoon excursion for 8 on Atwood Lake.
