Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum sponsoring 51st Ohio Volunteer Infantry (OVI) – It’s Men, Movements, Battles and Legacy

Join the Johnson-Humrickhouse on Thursday, May 23rd at 6pm to embark on a captivating exploration of history as Trent Johnson presents: “51st OVI- It’s Men, Movements, Battles and Legacy”, a comprehensive journey into the heart of one of the Civil War’s most distinguished regiments. Ohio Volunteer Infantry (OVI). Johnson began his love of history and genealogy in 1976 when he was 11 years old while searching for a Revolutionary War ancestor in Muskingum County with his father and grandmother. This has led to over 30 years researching the 51st OVI. From their humble beginnings to their battlefield triumphs, all the way to their legacy after the war, the presentation promises to provide a comprehensive overview of the regiment’s pivotal role in the Civil War. This presentation will be presented free of charge at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum. The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located in Historic Roscoe Village, 300 N. Whitewoman Street, Coshocton.
