Tuscarawas Amateur Radio Club Field Day

June 26 - June 27

Want to learn more about the exciting hobby of Amateur Radio? Members of the TUSCO Amateur Radio Club will be participating in Amateur Radio Field Day behind the Tuscarawas County Fairgrounds Grandstand on June 26-27. The event runs around the clock from 2 pm Saturday until 2 pm Sunday. The club will have 4 stations set up, including one dedicated for visitors wanting to try out the hobby. Club members will be on hand to answer questions. There are planned demonstrations of making contact using voice, Morse code, digital, and satellite modes. The event is free, open to the public, and all ages are encouraged to attend. This is a great STEM activity for youth interested in science and electronics. For more information, contact Jeff Voltz, at 330.690.6072 or visit the TUSCO Amateur Radio Club Facebook page.
