The Tuscarawas County Public Library is hosting its annual Summer Reading Program from June 9th – August 2nd, featuring reading incentives, fun programs, and a variety of kids’ camps at the Library’s five locations. The theme for this year’s program is Color Our World and offers a variety of art-related camps and programs. Summer Reading logging takes place on the reading tracker app, Beanstack, and begins May 31st. You can sign up for Beanstack at tusclibrary.org or receive a paper copy from the Library. Children, teens, and adults can read for 20 hours with each hour serving as a ticket into the grand prize drawings. For adults, the grand prize options include two tickets to a show at the Kent State University Performing Arts Center or a Deluxe Art Painting Set. For teens, the grand prize options include a Nintendo Switch Lite or an 11-inch pottery wheel and clay. For children, the grand prize options include a science kit and jumbo floor puzzle or an art easel with art supplies. In addition to the grand prize drawings, anyone attending a library program will earn an entry into a monthly basket drawing each time they attend a program.
