Tusky Valley Trojan Foundation Dog Disc/Walk Scamper Fundraiser

The Tusky Valley Trojan Foundation has stepped it up and is offering a better day for the community with their dogs! Last year they started with a Dog Disc Fundraiser, and it was very successful. This year they have stepped it up and will be adding a 1 mile walk/5K-9 scamper, dog swim time at the Commons Pool and a Frisbee competition. This event will take place on Sunday, September 10th at the Bolivar Commons Pool, located at 10107 Hollingsworth Avenue NE, Bolivar. Walk/Scamper will start at 11 am with registration at 10:30 am. Each event will cost $20 per dog. There is an option for your dog to enjoy three events for $30. If dogs participate, they will get into the pool at no cost. For dogs that might not be good around others but would love to take part in the pool to swim there will be private 15 minute swims available. Open pool swim is from 11 – 3; Noon: Dog contest and Best of show; 1:00: Dog Frisbee Competition.  All dogs will receive a Tusky Vally bandana. The Tuscarawas Ruritans will have a food stand available throughout the event. The main sponsor for the event is: Family Pet Mobile Vet. There will be other organizations present. Some fun activities will include “doggie” face painting and paw printing for your pooch!
