Students can also visit the artifacts exhibit in the Bimeler Museum\, the Blacksmith\, the Dairy\, the Laundry and many other buildings to learn more about Zoar’s fascinating history. Tickets are $8.00 per student and free for children 5 and under. One adult per group is free. Additional adults are $8.00. Reservations are required.

The scholarship application is now open\, and it must include: the completed application\, 3 digital photos of the student’s original artwork\, 2 reference letters (one of whom is to be a teacher in their field of study)\, and a photograph of the student for publicity purposes).  All application requirements must be submitted by April 17. 2026. The Tuscarawas County Art Guild is a 501C non-profit that has been in existence since 1972.  The sole purpose of the organization is to promote artists of all abilities and promote art in the community. They continue to meet once a month at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts and participate in various shows throughout the year. This is the 22nd year of the organization’s scholarship. The TCAG will present the award to the scholarship winner during the annual Senior High School Art Show Reception held at the Tuscarawas County Center for the Arts. The reception will be held on Wednesday April 29 from 6-8 pm and will include awards for the show presented by Jeannine Kennedy. Participants will make several decorative holders for small notes that they can give to the cherished women in their lives. All supplies will be furnished. Registration limited to 12 participants.
