The goal of this innovative 12-week program is to educate\, motivate\, and inspire people to make the lifestyle changes necessary to achieve overall wellness and lead happier\, healthier\, and more productive lives. The 60-minute classes will be held every Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 6:30 PM in the community room at the Dover Library. Participants may choose to attend in person or virtually. Dr. McKnight will address such topics as customized nutrition and fitness plans\, stress management\, cardiovascular fitness\, food labels\, flexibility and strength fitness\, disease prevention\, and healthy aging. She will talk about Eleanor Roosevelt’s extraordinary role during World War II as First Lady\, journalist\, and tireless advocate for human rights. This program examines how she leveraged her platform during wartime not only to inform and uplift\, but also to shape public opinion and advocate for a more just and inclusive democracy. This program is part of the Lunch and Learn series sponsored by the Dover Public Library on the third Thursday of every month.
