Gary Lee Huston, 61, of Uhrichsville, formerly of Gnadenhutten, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, from complications of Covid-19. Born June 9, 1960 in Dennison, he was a son of Janet Ellen (Brinkley) Huston with whom he had resided and the late Herman Earl Huston.

A lifelong area resident, Gary attended Starlight School and Workshop where he was a member of the State Championship basketball team. He also enjoyed bowling and swimming, and he was a huge fan of the Buckeyes. For many years, he was associated with the South New Philadelphia Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his sisters, Norma (Glenn) Arnold and Debbie (Dennis Moore) Orr; brothers, Curtis (Shanda) Huston and William (Juanita) Huston; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; aunt, Connie Myers; uncle, Ron (Patti) Brinkley; and a number of cousins.

Gary’s funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison. Interment will follow in Gnadenhutten-Clay Union Cemetery in Gnadenhutten. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Gary’s family request that all who attend please wear masks and maintain social distancing.
