Nick McWilliams reporting – Residents interested in knowing more about their heart health can attend an event at the Dover Public Library.

As a part of American Heart Month the library will host the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital for a heart and lipid panel that can be shared with physicians.

The finger stick tests will provide immediate results for analysis, and fasting beforehand is required.

The screening will cost $9 per person, and registration is required, which can be handled by dialing (330) 602-0779.

The event is this Friday, February 3rd, starting at 11 a.m. information will also be shared and physicians can answer questions for those in attendance.

The first Friday of February is recognized as Go Red Day, and residents are asked to consider talking with their doctor about their heart health.

The screenings will be at the Dover Library at 525 North Walnut Street.
