Jane Marie Moomaw, 68, of Sugarcreek, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 at her home following a long illness.
She was born in Sidney, Ohio on February 1, 1953 to the late Floyd Eustache and Jeanette (Steinke) Eustache Thaman and married Randy Moomaw. He survives.
She had worked as a legal secretary and part-time in the office at Moomaw Automotive in Sugarcreek.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover.
She spent many years following her family to all their sporting and school events. She especially enjoyed family time at home with them.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Geoff (Courtney) Helmlinger, Lindsay (Jeremy) Feador, Melissa Moomaw, and Greg Moomaw; grandchildren, Addison and Evan Helmlinger and Ellie and Simon Feador; step-father, Frank Thaman; mother-in-law, Earlene Moomaw; siblings, Vickie (Larry) Byrd, Nancy (Dale) Schwieterman, Mary Lewis, Jenny (Frank) Cardo, and Mark (Julie) Eustache; sisters-in-law Gwen Eustache, Jan Eustache and Lori Moomaw; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dan Eustache and Rick Eustache and father-in-law Howard Moomaw.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Bill Eckert officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 11-1 at the funeral home prior to the services.
