Joyce A. Kaser, 89, of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Truman House of Community Hospice in New Philadelphia following several months of declining health.
She was born in Baltic on October 25, 1931 to the late Warren H. and Beulah B. (Bentz) Fender.
After graduating from Baltic High School, she was employed in the office of The Hercules Motor Corporation in Canton until marrying her husband Robert D. Kaser on October 21, 1951.
Joyce was a member of the Baltic American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Dover.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Beverly and Richard E. Frantz, Jr. of New Philadelphia, and one sister Virginia Wyer also of New Philadelphia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert, two brothers Arthur Fender, Paul Fender, and two sisters Nadine Regula and Freda Armbrust.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Donald L. Rice, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Cemetery in Baltic. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-7 PM and Thursday from 10-11 AM all at the funeral home.
