Mary Alice Reporting – A voluntary recall has been issued for over-the-counter products that were shipped to Family Dollar stores.

The cause for the recall, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, is due to these products being stored outside of labeled temperature requirements.

The eleven-page list includes items from Dayquil, sleep aid soft gels, toothpaste products, arthritis crèmes, child and baby cough syrup, along with some hand soaps, deodorants, and sunscreen products. A full list can be found at www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts.

The items were shipped to Family Dollar locations on or around May 1, 2022, through June 10, 2022. To date, there have been no consumer complaints or reports of illness linked to this recall.
