Lois J. Keller, 79, of Uhrichsville, Ohio died Friday evening, Nov. 19, 2021, in the Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia following a brief illness.
Lois was a former sales consultant at GNC Nutritional Center at the New Towne Mall in New Philadelphia.
Born July 11, 1942, in Dover, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Helen (Halter) Barr Sr. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Keller who died June 29, 2019, and her brother, Richard “Dick” Barr Jr.
Lois was a 1960 graduate of Dover High School and enjoyed sewing.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim Volkert of Bolivar and Wendy (DJ) Kourie of Dover; six grandchildren, Amber, Brittany, Caitlin, Arica, Tyler, and Cortney along with five great-grandchildren, her loving canine companion, Muffin, and her sister in law, Sue Barr of New Philadelphia.
At her request, there will be no services. Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover and she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia.
