Molly Tressel, 63 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 15th, just days after beating cancer. Born on August 20th, 1958, She was the daughter of Peg and Tom Heakin. She was a 1976 graduate of Claymont High School. 

Molly was known for her spunky character, her tell it like it is an attitude, but mostly her love and protection over her family and friends. There was nothing more important to her than her kids and grandbabies. To know her was to love her, and she had the ability to make everyone around her laugh until they cried with her crazy stories. Her last days here on Earth were filled with joy and strength knowing she completed one of the toughest battles of her life. 

Molly is proceeded in death by her parents Tom and Peg Heakin, brother Tim Heakin, Doug Conrad and her husband Mark Tressel whom she missed immensely. Her heart is now whole being united with all of them. 

She is survived by her children Amy (Corey) Spaulding, Juston (Nikki) Stutz, Jason (Nicole) Stutz,  Jessica (Chris) Pressley,  and Jimmy (Savannah) Stutz as well as her step-children Adam, Karie and Jeff Tressel and children.

She also is survived by her grandbabies Beaux (Tayler), Paige, Ethan, Kynlynn, Chase, Harper, Kyze, Kenton, Easton, Rowan, Ellis and great-grandbabies Landon, Logan, Brinley and Paxton.

Also surviving is her special protector and big sis Christine (Rod) Hasseman, several nieces/nephews and her one of a kind partner in crime Sue “Louise” Whitman along with the Whitman children/grandchildren who she loved like her own. Lastly her sweet fur-baby companion Tucker, whom she loved deeply. 

Calling hours will be held Monday September 20th from 5-7 at Park Christian Church in Dennison with services to follow.  Dave Bryan, husband of her life-long friend Kari-Lu, will be officiating.
