Nick McWilliams reporting – Residents interested in serving on the Board of Elections can apply with the Tuscarawas County Democratic Party.
The party’s Executive Committee will meet at 6 p.m. on February 7th to appoint a new representative on the Board of Elections.
The group will meet for a regular session, along with recommending one person to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, who will select members for the board.
The four-year term gets underway at the beginning of March.
All resumes must be submitted to the party prior to the meeting to appoint a candidate.

Prospective candidates will be given the chance to speak at the meeting prior to a decision being made.
