Mary Alice Reporting – A local school district is working to get the community involved in developing a strategic plan.

The goal is to set a plan that will help guide the New Philadelphia District for the next three to five years.

Superintendent Amy Wentworth says these forums will be held virtually.

“And we are really hoping to get community input as to what we should be focusing on. What are our strengths? What are our threats? How can we make this district what the community wants it to be?”

The first meeting will be on August 16th at 6 pm, and then two will be held on August 17th, one at 10 am and the other at 6 pm.

Residents are asked to join the focus group and online links for the separate meetings can be found on the New Philadelphia City School District Facebook page.
