Nick McWilliams reporting – A fifth-grader in the Indian Valley School District was recognized for achievements in the classroom and in the community.
Arielle Dickey attends Port Washington Elementary and received Academic All-Star recognition from the Ohio Lottery Partners in Education program.
In a release, her teacher Kristen Rine praised Dickey’s drive to take on materials well above her grade level, and said that she leads by example in the classroom.
Dickey was also recognized for her choices when dealing with other students and staff, and being an active participant.
She also actively participates in her church youth group.
As a part of the recognition, she will receive various Partners in Education merchandise through the state lottery system, and a gift card.
