Mary Alice Reporting – Local non-profits are getting a financial boost after grants were announced through the Reeves Foundation.
Foundation board members meet bi-monthly to review applications and in 2020, almost $1.4 million was distributed to 47 organizations.
Office Manager Heidi Ross says that out of the many grants, there were several larger dollar amounts.
“$100,000 to Claymont City Schools for their stadium project, Central Catholic received a little over $122,000 so they can put new bleachers in their gymnasium, and Warren Township received a little over $85,000 to replace the roof.”
Ross adds that any interested and certified 501-3-C can contact the Reeves Foundation for the grant application by emailing them at office@reevesfound.org or calling 330-364-4660.
