Mary Alice Reporting – On the first Tuesday of June, the Tuscarawas County Democrat Party will hold a reorganizational meeting.
This type of gathering is held every four years following the election of Central Committee Members, says committee chair Martha Campbell.
The Central Committee selects officers and then creates the Executive Committee to manage the affairs of the local Democratic Party; along with, directing and conducting campaign activities, and carrying out general policies.
The meeting will be June 7th, at 6pm, at the political party’s headquarters, located at 1260 Monroe Street NE, New Philadelphia.
Per the guidelines of the Ohio Democratic Party, all those attending the meeting will be required to show proof of vaccination.
