The stop occurred just before 8 p.m. on East Wheeling Avenue in Cambridge after a pair of Guernsey County deputies witnessed a moving violation.
A K-9 unit joined the stop, and alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics.
A search of the vehicle netted what was classified as “a significant amount of narcotics,” along with a loaded handgun on one of the vehicles occupants and an undetermined amount of cash.
Evidence was turned over to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for testing, and all three were taken into custody.
