Tolbert Somerville, 86, of Newcomerstown, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehab. Center in Newcomerstown. He was born November 14, 1934 in Mineral Wells, WV to the late Dick and Icy Luella (Roberts) Somerville.
Tob was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from General Tire after over 40+ years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #1555 of Newcomerstown. Tob was an avid mule rider, loved to hunt and fish, and enjoyed spending his spare time working on small engine repair.
He married Barbara (Folkert) Somerville on November 14, 1954, who survives him. He is also survived by his brother, Frank Somerville of Mineral Wells, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Services will be Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Addy Funeral Home in Newcomerstown with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, on hour prior to the service, from 11 to 12 at the funeral home. Military Services will be conducted by the Newcomerstown Veterans Honor Guard./’
