Mary Alice Reporting- A new program that will search out child relatives will be implemented at the Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services Office.
The innovative program is with Kinnect to Family, which is a specialized, intense, family search and engagement program to locate extended family placement for youth removed from their parents.
The idea is to identify these connections for children and families encountering child welfare, with the overall purpose to expand efforts to find safe, appropriate supports
The program has the goal of, at least, 70% of children served to be placed with kinship caregivers by the conclusion of services and for children to be placed within 30 days of entering foster care.
