Mary Alice Reporting – To help streamline the process of getting students required vaccines, a two-day clinic is being hosted by the Tuscarawas County Health Department.

This is for youth entering 7th and 12th grade and appointments must be made ahead of the dates, August 10th for the incoming seniors and August 11th for 7th graders.

Nursing Director Amy Kaser notes that this will be a drive-up event.

“Where you call in and make an appointment, you drive up we have staff out there that will give you your paperwork, you and your child stay in the car, we bring that vaccine out to you, and off you go. Again, trying to make it very easy.”

The clinic will be held at the Tuscarawas Health Department on Iron Avenue in Dover, and to schedule an appointment, call 330-343-5555 ext. 181 or ext. 174.

A child’s medical card will need to be shown and those without insurance will be charged a flat $21 fee, per vaccine. That is payable by cash or check that day.
