Mary Alice Reporting – A 32-year-old has been identified as the victim in a continuing homicide investigation.
On May 10th the Stark County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call indicating the discovery of a body on the side of a roadway near 12th Street NE, in East Canton.
Just before 9 pm, law enforcement went to Hardington Avenue NE, in Canton Township, and found the deceased male.
A release identified the victim as Joseph Pomeroy, 32, of Plain Township.
The investigation is still ongoing but officials indicated foul play is suspected with details still limited.
