Virginia Froelich, 91, of Sugarcreek passed away at Walnut Hills Nursing Home on September 13, 2021 following a period of declining health.

Born in Baltic on July 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn (Dresher) Westhoefer. She married Chester Froelich on September 13, 1953. He died August 12, 2013.

Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the Fiat United Church of Christ. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her daughters Linda (Gary) Garber of Sugarcreek and Penny (Eric) McDowell of Millersburg; and a grandson Braden McDowell. In addition to her husband Chester, she is preceded in death by a sister Anna Mae Manly and brother Wayne Westhoefer.

A private graveside service will be in Fiat Cemetery officiated by Pastor Dennis Landaw. Memorial contributions in Virginia’s memory may be made to LifeCare Hospice at 1900 Akron Road Wooster, OH 44691.
