Nick McWilliams reporting – A pair of winners have been selected by Tuscarawas County Juvenile Court Judge Adam Wilgus for an art contest.
The Second Annual Art Scholarship Contest saw Alyssa Renicker from Dover take home first prize, followed by Maggie Johnson from Indian Valley in second.
Both pieces of artwork will be displayed in the courtroom of Wilgus, and both students will receive a scholarship for continuing education.
Renicker is planning on attending the Culinary Institute of America, while Johnson is set to attend the Ohio State University.
Court staff offered their thanks to all participants, and both winners will be recognized with a presentation on April 24th.
