The Carroll County Fair is July 16th thru the 21st. Candlewood Suites Carrollton, DAC Vitamins and Minerals, Hamilton Insurance Agency, Heritage Country Store, and WTUZ wants you to go out to the fair barns and support the kids in 4H, F.F.A., and the Scouts.
1) Come to the Still Project Auction on Wednesday, July 17th at 6:30pm at the Carroll County Fair Stage! You’ll find many items the kids have made or worked on for the fair. Mike Lozier will conduct the auctions. In past years they have sold refinished antique furniture, decorative and craft items, metal yard ornaments, and a host of other items!
2) Come to the Large Animal Sale at the metal barn on Friday, July 19th at 6:00pm! Help all the young people in 4H and the F.F.A by bidding. The auction showcases Market Beef Steers, Market Hogs, Dairy Beef Feeders, Market Lambs, Dairy Product Baskets, and Market Dairy Steers that have taken so much work. If you’re the winning bidder, you can pick the processor you want to process your animal. The junior fair board handles the shipping. Just call the processor and let them fix the order the way you want or donate it to charity.
3) Come to the Small Animal Sale on Saturday, July 20th at 1:30pm in the metal barn! The sale showcases Market Chickens, Turkeys, Goats, Ducks, and Rabbits that have taken so much work. If you’re a winning bidder, pick the processor you want to process your animal and the junior fair board handles the shipping. Just call the processor and let them fix the order the way you want. You can also sell the animal at the Carrollton Livestock Auction Barn or donate it to charity.
